Patrick Clarke, his Wife and two children came to the US. In 1988. Hailing from Guyana, South America, is a writer/filmmaker, who began his media career as production manager of feature films and documentaries in Guyana. He also sold stock shots of certain flora and fauna found in the Amazon to various film companies. A trained Lithographic Printer, Stage actor, Singer, Ballroom dancer, Producer of stage plays, National pageants, Special event programs and Musical stage performance shows, are part of his portfolio. Patrick also had a career in Marketing and Advertising, doing research and special Promotions for small to medium-sized businesses. In the US, he built Outdoor and Indoor lighted signs and Awinings for small Businesses while pursuing his film and other media interests in New York.
In 2006 to 2008 along with members of the Directors Guild of America, East, and Wall Street investors, Patrick researched and developed a business plan to erect a large studio and Entertainment complex in the mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania. “THEPOCONOPLEX COMPLEX“.
With 86% of Capital expenditure in bricks & motar, the sudden and eminent collapse of the American housing market in 2008, caused he and the Directors of the company to halt the project since it was no longer feasible to meet projected deadlines.
In 2013 -2015 Patrick and a selected team of professional managers, film production and distribution experts formed a company Nexus Media Partners Llc, to research and develop a business model and plan for an Investment Bank in New Jersey. All statistical data about the current state of the Motion Picture and TV sales industry were obtained from MPAA and US Government International Trade Agencies.
It was a Ten Film theatrical movie package called “The Nexus Portfolio”, under the magement of the company he had formed.
The portfolio included Top name Producers, Directors, A/list talent and international Distributors as part of the total investment package. The Producers also submitted their film scripts with stars attached and Completion Bond Gurantees to ensure that once the project is funded, all aspects of the production with worldwide distribution will be executed according the signed agreements with the Investment Bank.
